OK, I'll bite.

1. What did you do in 2007 that you'd never done before?
Questioned how open-minded my palate actually is when I tried Nato for the first time. Blech. Acquired taste indeed.
There were a lot of firsts this year, hopefully 2008 will bring even more. :)

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I didn't have any in 2007, but i have a couple for 2008.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Not this year, but GOSH did a lot of people get pregnant!!

4. Did anyone close to you die?
Yes.

5. What countries did you visit?
Does Harlem count as a country?

6. What would you like to have in 2008 that you lacked in 2007?
Less drama. A decent reel. A laptop. More creative output.

7. What date from 2007 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
August 31. Last Day of Summer as a loaded title.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Moving out on my own for the first time. Getting a show credit.

9. What was your biggest failure?
I dunno... I guess I sort of regret not taking the steaks out a couple minutes earlier last night.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Thank heavens, no. But I did end up with many mysterious bruises in December.

11. What was the best thing you bought?
Silk e-pil's my new best friend.

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Rob Gizis - solid as a rock as always. Chris Giuffrida.

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
Higher ups at MTV Networks. And one other person's.

14. Where did most of your money go?
Rent and throwing parties.

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
engagements, pregnancy announcements... and yes, new Avatar season.

16. What song will always remind you of 2007?
Let's Just Play Go Healthy Challenge theme song.

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
i. Happier or sadder? Bad time to ask, I'm always kinda sad around the holidays.
ii. Thinner or fatter? Same weight, but mushier from not working out. :(
iii. Richer or poorer? About the same.

18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Reading. Creating. Travel. Exercise. Explore Williamsburg.

19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Beat myself up.

20. How will you be spending Christmas?
I spent it cooking an impromptu dinner with friends and family. It was really quite lovely.

21. Did you fall in love in 2007?
I'm not a player I just crush a lot.

22. How many one-night stands?
Maybe one or two with McDonald's. It always seems like such a good idea at the time. Gugh.

23. What was your favorite TV program?
Avatar, Kid Nation.

24. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Lord knows I've had reason to... but no.

25. What was the best book you read?
Persepolis. It might've been Into the Wild if I finished it before 2007. I'll let you know. :)

26. What was your greatest musical discovery?
Catbirdseat.org

27. What did you want and get?
Independence and a few answers.

28. What did you want and not get?
A unicorn named Sprinkles.

29. What was your favorite film of this year?
I gotta say that for as many movies as I Thought I saw this year, I can't think of any as stand-out favorites.

30. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
Turned a whopping 28. Spent it at the MTV Networks Holiday extravaganza. I danced it up, got tackled and took a lot of pictures I don't remember taking.

31. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2007?
Dress for success!

32. What kept you sane?
Drinking and Kim Kahne.

33. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Um. Devin Werkheiser of Ned's Declassified. What? ... If 16 is old enough for Jamie Lynn to make a baby, it's old enough for old pervs like me to crush on.

35. Who did you miss?
My best friend.

36. Who was the best new person you met?
I was lucky in meeing a good handful of people I hope to stay friends with for a long time.

37. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2007:
I deserve the love I get. (yeah, it took this long to figure that out.)

I'm agnostic. But I volunteer at church. Don't try to think about it too hard.

Anyway, I posted a xanga entry about the Youth Group retreat I chaperoned a couple weeks ago. Most of my kids are subscribed to it so I keep that one rated PG.
Hello LiveJournal community...

I have a boy, his name is Jeremy Arambulo. He's been nagging me to join LiveJournal so I can comment on his blog and keep up with the goings ons of all the amazing comic folk and music peeps we've befriended. His naggy mcnagging usually belies some good advice (like when he tells me to turn off the light behind me or brush my teeth before I end up falling asleep on the couch... which i always do...) so I decided to give in. And like conserving electricity or getting less cavities, I'm sure this will pay off too.

So it's me, Kathy Kim... I am here, embrace me.

I'm here to read and comment and maybe eventually shift my blog from Xanga to here! Hootie Hoooo!

p.s. that's my dog Bosqo and I dresed up as a pumpkin and a pumpkin farmer for halloween in my profile pic.
